IEF Capital has extensive experience in securing various sources of financing. It always seeks to achieve the financing structure that is most appropriate to the characteristics of its funds at that particular moment. An example in this regard was the issuance of a commercial mortgage-backed security (CMBS) of approximately € 1 billion for the IEF Capital Berlage fund in 2006. Around the time of maturity of the CMBS, however, loans with other financiers were more suited to the fund.
IEF Capital distinguishes itself by its own inflation-linked products that offer inflation linked returns to Dutch pension funds in the Netherlands. Such products have a very positive effect on pension fund’s asset-liability models as pension funds long-term liabilities are correlated to Dutch Inflation.
